Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of rice
- 1 tablespoon of moong dal
- 1/4 cup of pumpkin
- 1 cup of water
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1 large garlic clove
- Salt to taste
- Ghee(optional)
Method:
- Wash the rice and dal and soak for 10-15 mins.
- Add all the ingredients in a pressure cooker except salt and ghee and cook for 5 whistles in medium flame.
- Once pressure released,add salt and ghee and mash it using mixer.
- Add hot water,if you need more watery consistency.
- Serve little warm.
Note
- Select pumpkin that is deep orange in colour,
- Pumpkin should not be too ripe.
