Green peas is rich in protein and it has vitamins A and B. It is a best first food babies at the weaning stage.
As it is also easily digestible and there is no allergic reactions, it can be given on a regular basis.
You can start with peas after 6 months.
You can use fresh green peas or frozen green peas as per availability.

Ingredients:
- Handful of Peas
- Water for the peas to immerse
Method:
1. Wash the peas chunks completely.
2.Take the peas in a pressure cooker and add water to immerse the peas.
3.Pressure cook peas for 5-6 whistle or until soft.
4.Once pressure is released,mash it using blender.
5.Add the cooked water for grinding to get required consistency.
6.Serve the puree fresh for the baby.

Notes:
- It's always good to make the puree fresh daily or as when required.
- If you can't make puree daily,you can make purees and store in the refrigerator as frozen and use when required.
- Purees are good to be consumed within 2 hours of preparation.
