Fish fry can be done by various methods,I have shared my mom's method with some tricks and tips to get a yummy and tasty fish fry.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg fish( I used vela meen)
- 3-4 tablespoon Oil
For marination,
- one and half spoon chilli powder
- 1 spoon coriander powder
- 1 spoon turmeric powder
- Salt required
- 1/2 lemon,squeezed
Method:
- Wash the fish very well with rock salt and turmeric to get rid of the smell.
- Give a slight slit in the middle of fish pices,so the masala can get well into it.
- Add all the ingredients listed under marination,and marinate for 30 mins in refrigerator.
- In a frying pan,add oil,once the oil is well heated,add the fish pieces and keep the flame in full low and cook for 7 mins.Then flip over the fish and again keep for 7 mins.
- And it is done π
Note
- It is very important to fry the fish in low flame to get it well cooked with masala.
- Don't flip over the fish in between frying,or it may get broken.
- By keeping in the refrigerator,the masala gets into fish intact.
